　　兰州信息科技学院(原兰州理工大学技术工程学院)始创于2002年，是经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，现有全日制在校生1.7万余人。学校坚持应用型办学定位，服务国家战略和区域经济社会发展。现设有41个本科专业，其中5个省级一流专业、4个省级特色专业。

　　Lanzhou University of Information Science and Technology, founded in 2002, is a full-time regular undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor, the College of Technology and Engineering of Lanzhou University of Technology, inherits the academic legacy of a century-old prestigious university. Currently, the university enrolls over 17,000 full-time students. Guided by an application-oriented educational philosophy, it is committed to supporting national strategies and contributing to regional economic and social development. The university offers 41 undergraduate programs, among which 5 are recognized as provincial-level first-class programs and 4 as provincial-level distinctive programs.

　　The University implements the strategy of strengthening the University through talent and recruits outstanding professionals worldwide.
